6. Try It: Send a File by Instant Messenger
The Instant Messenger is open.
Click on Send a file.
Select a file: Teddy Bear's Picnic.pptx

Lync will send a message to your Contact and invite her to accept the file. When Clair clicks Accept, the file will be transferred.

Back on your desktop, Microsoft Lync will notify you that the transfer is complete.
